At PwC, our people in workforce consulting focus on providing consulting services related to human resources, talent management, and organisational development. They analyse client needs, develop people and organisation strategies. These individuals offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their workforce, enhance employee engagement, and drive organisational effectiveness.In change management and communications at PwC, you will focus on helping clients navigate organisational change and effectively communicate with stakeholders. You will work closely with clients to develop change management strategies, assess change readiness, and design communication plans to support successful change initiatives. Your work will provide guidance on employee engagement, training, and cultural transformation to drive organisational adoption and minimise resistance.
Our Workforce Consulting team leads in aligning people strategies with business goals to drive sustainable growth and transformation. As part of our team, you'll collaborate with clients to tackle complex challenges and deliver enduring value. Our Workforce team is growing and we’re currently seeking an experienced Director in HR Technology and Transformation. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for advising and managing effective HRIS implementations and other workforce technology tools that support our clients across various sectors.
Purpose-led work you’ll be part of:
You will work and lead teams, playing a key role in helping our clients solve complex HR Technology and Transformation problems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading client engagement teams and working with a variety of clients to drive HR technology, strategy and transformation for HR functions across industries
Lead and collaborate with Alternative Delivery Models (ADM) and HR Shared Services (HRSS) frameworks to enhance service delivery models
Leading and managing end-to-end HR Technology and Transformation engagements, ensuring alignment with client objectives and PwC methodologies
Supporting clients to develop and implement strategies to enhance and optimise HR processes, technology, systems and organisational design
Collaborating with clients to assess current HR capabilities, identify areas for improvement, and design future-state HR models
Integrate cutting-edge technology that supports and elevates HR functions, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives
Demonstrating a thorough understanding of complex change concepts specifically within HR technology implementation, and supporting clients with change management activities for these projects
Leading and managing HR cloud technology implementation projects (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors or Workday) and enabling data analytics following the implementation
Collaboratively work with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver complex problems with a key focus on benefits realisation and sustained value creation
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters
Anticipate stakeholder needs, developing and discussing potential solutions pre-emptively
Lead, mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous feedback
Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations
Develop and successfully managing project budgets and commercials
Identifying and resolving risks and issues throughout programme delivery.
Handling a multi-tasking environment, meeting deadlines, and working with a wide range of internal external stakeholders

A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Proficient use of the Microsoft suite of applications and tools like power BI
Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct
Qualifications / Experience:
Experience leading and implementing a HR Technology or Transformation project (e.g. SAP, Workday or Oracle or other Tier two solutions)
A recognised University Degree, preferably in HRM and a minimum of [10+] years of experience in HR Technology, Transformation, or HR consulting, with a proven track record of managing complex projects
A good understanding of Irish employment law and its implications for HR practices
Strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and technologies, including HRIS, talent management, and workforce analytics
In depth knowledge of HR strategies, processes and best practices with experience leading and managing HR transformation projects, Alternative Delivery models, Shared services and offshore centres
Proficiency in leveraging HR technologies including HRIS to optimise HR functions
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and teams.
Proven leadership ability to mentor and develop junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive change.
Experience in consulting or professional services is highly desirable
Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD) are a plus
