Hsemw Clinical Nurse Specialist Psychiatry Of Later Life

The Clinical Nurse Specialist Psychiatry of Later Life has a pivotal role in the delivery of effective, recovery orientated, high quality, team based, integrated care for older persons with mental health problems. The purpose of the role is also to provide assessment and support to the individual through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions to support care in the community working towards reduction in the need for acute hospitalisation. This will include: domiciliary visits, family support and liaison with other services.
