Hsemw Finance Manager

Purpose of the Post:

To support the finance leadership in delivering expert financial advice and decision support service colleagues to facilitate informed long-term and short-term decision making.

To play a key analytical role for the HSE Mid West in co-ordinating efforts to assess, establish, monitor and continuously improve the system of internal financial controls within the HSE Mid West.

To support the finance function in providing high quality analysis in order to safely reduce costs and secure appropriate additional investment in services, including by linking inputs to outputs/outcomes and demonstrating value for money.

To deliver accurate and timely management reports, expert financial advice and decision support in relation to the delivery of safe health and social care services within the funding available.

To supplement existing financial management capacity within HSE Mid West.
