HSE Mid West Older Persons Residential Services in Limerick & Clare

The two residential community nursing units are as follows:

· St. Camillus’ Hospital, Limerick

· St. Joseph’s Hospital, Ennis, Co. Clare

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Health Care Assistant from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

The person(s) appointed to the post of Healthcare Assistant will work within Older Persons Residential Services as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a co-ordinated approach to patient care.

The Healthcare Assistant:

· Will report to and work under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing/Clinical Nurse Manager or his/her deputy.

· Will be accountable to the Director of Nursing.
