Hsemw Health & Social Care Professions Practice Education Project Officer, Oifigeach Tionscadail

As an integral member of the Regional HSCP team, the HSCP Disability Services Practice Education Project Officer will support Disability Services across the HSE, Section 38s and Section 39s to further develop the practice education infrastructure. This will include building on existing initiatives and development and supporting an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to practice placements at local level with a view to increasing capacity and quality of clinical placements across disability settings in a sustainable way. The post holder will work closely with the HSE National HSCP Office to contribute to and inform development of national initiatives to support practice education in disability settings, to test and implement new approaches, models and frameworks and to support development of the HSCP practice placement database.

There will be a strong emphasis on co-creation and working in line with the principles underpinning development of HSCP Deliver and People’s Needs Defining Change, the Health Services Change Guide.
