Hsemw Orthotist Senior

The person appointed to this post will work under the MidWest Foot Clinic and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care.

The Senior Orthotist will be responsible for the development and implementation of a high quality, accessible orthotic and footwear service for clients referred with orthotic needs.

The service will deliver care and management of clients with an assessed need of orthotic or footwear intervention (both adult and paediatric)

The Senior Orthotist will work closely alongside primary care practitioners such as physiotherapists, GPs and podiatrists and with the acute and voluntary services as appropriate. They will also be working in close conjunction with private companies that presently provide orthotic service to the region.

The service will provide a high quality accessible Orthotic assessment to HSE client.
