What You'll Do

  • Lead and support staff within the hub on a daily basis.
  • Champion person-centred practices and support the development of Person-Centred Plans.
  • Promote choice, independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
  • Support the planning and delivery of meaningful programmes tailored to individual goals and aspirations.
  • Encourage participation in community, social, vocational, and employment opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and stakeholders.
  • Support staff supervision, development, and training.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation and coordination of the service.
  • Contribute to service innovation, quality improvement, and best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and New Directions standards.

Essential Requirements
  • Relevant Level 7 qualification in Social Work, Applied Social Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working within the intellectual disability sector.
  • Excellent IT and computer literacy skills.
  • Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
Desirable
  • Previous supervisory or management experience within health or social care services.
  • Train-the-Trainer qualification or equivalent.
