Created in honour of former Irish News photographer Hugh Russell, this 12-month internship celebrates the legacy of an Olympian boxer and award-winning photographer who spent more than 40 years capturing the people, events and stories that shaped our community.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring photographer and visual storyteller to gain hands-on experience producing photography, video and multimedia content for print, digital and social media platforms. Working alongside experienced journalists and photographers, you will cover news, sport, features and community events while developing your skills in a busy newsroom environment.
