Human Resource Administrator

We are seeking a diligent Human Resource Administrator to support our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The purpose of the role is to partner with the business on day-to-day HR activities to effectively deliver in the areas of recruitment, training, employee relations, HR administration and employee engagement.
Principal Accountabilities

- Act as a brand ambassador for employee engagement and well-being in the workplace, implementing initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve HR goals and objectives aligned with company strategy.
- Manage and oversee daily HR tasks to ensure smooth operations of HR functions.
- Ensure all HR queries are managed promptly and efficiently on an ongoing basis to provide timely support to employees and managers.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer management.
- Support employee initiatives, including health and safety programs, to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee and coordinate all training and development activities, including induction programs, operator training plans, training systems, and further development opportunities for co-workers.
- Manage the training and development system, overseeing all training activities from induction to advanced skill development.
- Support the employee lifecycle to ensure a positive employee experience from recruitment to offboarding.
- Assist managers and team leads in completing paperwork, such as return to work forms, performance reviews, and disciplinary documentation.
- Provide HR advisory services on disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee relations issues.
- Focus on continuous improvement in the department, identifying and implementing system improvements to enhance training effectiveness.
- Support the processing of weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
- Prepare monthly reports for the business, providing insights and analysis on HR metrics and trends.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Represent the HR department during audits and take necessary actions to address audit findings.
- Continuously review, improve, and develop current company policies to ensure alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
- Complete any additional tasks or projects requested by your manager or leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Studies, or related field is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR administrative experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, legislation, practices, and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
