Job Description
A Human Resource Graduate is needed to join one of Ireland’s largest and most successful M&E contractors with a permanent role with a base in our offices in Little Island, Co. Cork.
Duties include:
- First point of contact for HR related queries
- Management of HR Databases including full reporting capabilities, data manipulation and analysis.
- Recruitment advertising, applicant management and interview organisation.
- Attending relevant industry recruitment events including university, professional bodies, industry.
- Sourcing of external training providers and coordination of same.
- Coordination of internal training.
- Analysis and reporting of all training annually.
- Ensuring compliance for audits with professional bodies.
- End of year procedures/reporting.
- General HR administration including filing, reference checks, letters etc.
- Switch cover on an ad-hoc basis.
- Full training on internal systems/processes will be provided.
- Coordination of apprenticeship programme including maintenance of trackers, liaising with Solas and site teams.
Skills and Requirements
- Third Level Business qualification or similar.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral essential.
- Excellent IT skills – intermediate level MS Word/Excel essential.
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and on own initiative.
- Knowledge of the construction industry would be advantageous.
