A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
HR Manager (Employee Relations)
37 hours per week
Scale PO5, SCP 40-43 Currently £49,764 - £52,805.
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed upon appointment and flexibility to be based across the Borough will be required.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
This newly created role sits within the new Business Support division within the newly created Corporate & Support Services Directorate. Reporting to the HR & OD Manager you will be responsible for providing employee liaison support to a wide range of managers across the Council.
You will oversee the guidance, coaching and assisting of line managers through their queries around issues such as attendance management, grievances, disciplinaries, probation, poor performance and employment law.
PLEASE NOTE: Only application forms containing all the information, which has been sought, will be considered.
The shortlisting panel will base shortlisting decisions on the information contained within the Essential Criteria narrative sections of the application form. It is the applicant’s responsibility to provide sufficient relevant information including dates in this section of the form for each criteria.
