Clerical Grade V, Full-time Specific Purpose Contract, Maternity Leave Cover (Indicative 6 - 12 Months), 35hrs per week

As HR Officer, you’ll bring strong operational HR experience and a keen understanding of how HR metrics and insights drive informed decision-making, consistent management, and scontinuous improvement. You’ll support key initiatives across the employee lifecycle, helping to embed best practices and deliver high-impact HR services that empower our people and strengthen our culture.

Based at CRC, Clontarf, Dublin 3
Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, HR Services and Workforce Planning, the HR Officer will work as part of a team to establish and maintain best practice in line with relevant policies and legislation. The successful person will lead out on the following key functions: coordination of monthly payroll changes between HR and Finance, maintenance and development of the HR software system, recruitment of volunteers and the role will also provide support to the onboarding and induction processes. This is an exciting and varied role with opportunity to develop excellent generalist experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a HR environment in a HR Officer/Generalist Role.
- Leaving Certificate or FETAC Level 5 Office Administration or above.
- Or have completed a relevant examination at a comparable standard in any equivalent examination in another jurisdiction or above
- Strong broad working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and it’s application into the workplace.
- Genuinely passionate about all aspects of HR and the role the function plays in the organisation.
- Experience of working with and developing HR Information Systems.
- Experience across recruitment and employee relations processes.
- Proficient in MS Suite, focus on Excel
Desirable Criteria:
- Membership of CIPD an advantage.
- Experience of working as a Garda Vetting Liaison Person.
- Experience in a public sector or not for profit HR department is an advantage.
- Experience in HR system migration
