HVAC Commissioning Technician

Flowtech Engineering are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking HVAC Commissioning Technician to join their team.

Flowtech Engineering is a privately owned company that is able to assist with all HVAC requirements. Although our Headquarters are based in Louth, we provide services to client sites Nationwide and also cover projects outside of Ireland.

We specialise in the following core services:

• Independent Testing and Balancing
• Pre-Commissioning Cleaning and flushing of pipework systems
• Commissioning Management
• Heat Load & Integrated Services Testing
• Clean Room and Clinical Validation
• Pharmaceutical and Clinical HVAC Preventative Maintenance
• Building and Duct Pressure Testing
• HVAC Servicing

This role will entail the following:

• Responsible for onsite Testing and Balancing of air and water distribution systems
• Working onsite as part of commissioning team
• Reviewing HVAC drawings, generating test reports and commissioning plans
• Tracking progress of commissioning activities and defects
• Reviewing specifications and delivering test data in accordance with specification requirements.
• Trouble shooting of problems encountered by air and water balancing commissioning teams.
• Assisting other departments when required
• Completion of commissioning report documentation to a high standard

Candidate requirements:

• Candidate should have experience & criteria minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in air and water balancing, BSRIA standard flushing.
• Solid knowledge of Mechanical services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication including technical report writing skills.
• Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficient in the MS Office software.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must have valid PPS number
