There is currently one permanent and whole-time vacancy available in Our Lady’s Hospital Navan, Co Meath.

Purpose of the Post

The Hygiene Services manager will be responsible for effective and efficient management of the Services Department (i.e. all Portering, hygiene and environmental cleaning, window cleaning, legionella flushing controls, household and domestic services, linen services, catering services at ward level, waste management including clinical and all contract services relevant to the role) in the hospital to ensure patient safety is upheld. The post holder will ensure that all duties are carried out efficiently and effectively in accordance with national standards.

The person appointed will be required to interact on an ongoing basis with Senior Management, Consultants, Director and Assistant Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Catering Manager and other Heads of Departments in relation to the duties assigned to the role. The post holder will be responsible for the implementation and development of hospital policy in the related areas. In addition, the post holder will be a member of and attend in-house committees as required.

The Salary scale for the post is as at: 01/03/2025
