Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this post is to provide 3rd level ICT Support to the CHI at Temple Street hospital end users. The post holder will also work as part of a team ensuring the underlying ICT infrastructure on which all ICT systems rely on, remain up working and up to date.

Essential Criteria:

  • A third level degree/post-graduate qualification in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronic Engineering plus 2 years post qualification experience in a relevant Infrastructure role

Or

  • 4+ years’ experience in a relevant and similar role
  • Have experience of installing, maintaining and supporting Server hardware and software
  • Detailed working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft software
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 and Microsoft software
  • Detailed working knowledge of VMware.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory and GPOs
  • Experience of backup systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • ITIL Experience

So that the Onboarding team can confirm your start date, you will need to ensure that your mandatory training is completed at least 7 days prior to your commencement date.

It is important for you to note that if you do not have your pre-employments and mandatory training completed in time, your commencement date will be deferred to the next available date.
