We’re looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our in-house ICT team and ensure the effective delivery of secure, reliable, and future-ready IT services across the organisation on a 6 month fixed term contract. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the performance of external vendors—including our current Managed Service Provider, BCN—and driving strategic improvements in our technology landscape.
This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong grasp of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies—especially Microsoft 365 and Azure. Experience within the third sector and an ability to align technology with organisational values will be key to your success.

Essential Criteria:
  • A relevant third-level qualification in IT or a related field with technical components.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing an internal ICT team.
  • At least 3 years’ recent experience in a technical ICT environment, including:
  • Cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365/Azure)
  • Cybersecurity and compliance
  • Performance monitoring and reporting
  • IT project delivery
    • Proven experience overseeing IT vendor contracts and Managed Service Provider relationships.
    • Valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be considered where applicable).

    Desirable Criteria:
    • Relevant degree or professional IT certification (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, or cyber security credentials).
    • Experience in the third sector or with charities.
    • Management of ICT services in an organisation with 100+ staff.
    • Proven experience leading major IT projects.
