GRADE IV (CLERICAL) Salary Scale: €36,470 to €56,018 annually DOE

The ICT Officer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, delivery, and administration of all ICT systems in Kare. The role will be based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare with hybrid working available and travel required for on-site support in Kare’s various locations across Co. Kildare, East Offaly, and West Wicklow.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of Windows Servers and Laptops, including Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 11, Microsoft Office and Sophos anti-virus.
  • Level 3 troubleshooting of issues relating to desktop hardware/software & mobile devices. 
  • Build, imaging and maintenance of new PCs, laptops and tablets.
  • Administration of mobile device security via Kare’s Mobile Device Management platform.
  • Completion of daily routine ICT operations and associated operational checklists.
  • Operational support of existing business process automations
  • Support the Assistive Technology officer deploying specialist apps and technology tools to assist people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Provide remote technical support, training and advice to end users working remotely.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Level 7 qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an ICT customer-facing/engineer support role.
  • Strong ICT skills and experience of working with computerised training/CBT/LMS systems.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Azure, Intune and Office 365 is desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Forms / Flow / Power Automate and PowerApps is advantageous.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with the MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Copilot etc).
  • Strong administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to effectively plan, manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship
  • Full Irish drivers licence and access to own vehicle
  • Good quality home broadband to enable remote working
