ICT Technician

The role will involve assisting with the installation, maintenance and support of Council ICT hardware, software applications and associated data. The postholder will assist in providing first line support for staff and elected members to address technical difficulties and ICT related requests, using the helpdesk management system to record and mange support requests.

The postholder will maintain physical and hardware inventories in the ICT stores and carry out repairs of broken and damaged ICT equipment including organising third party repairs or replacements, as necessary.
