Implementation Manager
About This Role:
The Implementation Manager will lead a team of Project Managers and Implementation Engineers that will be working on Professional Services projects within eir Business. They will be responsible for making sure the team is fully trained and prepared to effectively roll out the suite of products and services. They will also manage the utilisation of the team and make sure time is properly monetised on customer projects.
The Implementation Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in the PMO, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, and collaborating with other areas of the business to deliver customer projects and programs.
Operationally, the Implementation manager will provide and enable project prioritisation, management information, financial reporting, resource planning, decision making, and recruitment. The PMO will serve as a central hub for project oversight, governance, and support, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and aligned with both customer and eir business objectives.
Expectations From The Role:Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO’s strategy, responsibilities, services, and deliverables.
Provide strong management oversight and leadership to project teams assigned to specific customer deliverables.
Define and embed project control and governance
Drive and implement standardised process improvement initiatives across the department.
Implement and ensure adherence to all Quality Assurance processes, including periodic reviews
Evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
Own key processes, tools, and documentation and training for the Professional Services team, including planning, project management methodologies and tools, revenue recognition, and cost tracking, or others.
Recommend and drive improvements to the existing processes/tools and reporting where possible
Build cohesion within the team and motivate the team to produce quality work.
Create a set of reporting KPIs for the PMO function that explain how the PMO activities bring value to the business, as well as how it is improving and where there may be opportunities for it to deliver even more value.
provide management with accurate, timely, and focused reporting to inform their decisions.
Ensure adherence with the monthly reporting cycle incl. on time preparation of reports and data quality assurance
Ensure high-quality reporting incl. RAID, resource management, and financials/budgets management
Represent the project team at stakeholder meetings.
Lead and drive resource demand planning activities, allocations, and annual demand planning activities
Management of conflicts and skills gaps · Support other projects and tasks as directed by the Head of Delivery & Professional Services · Ensures that the unit´s overall PMO operations meet all agreed performance goals.
Requirements For A Successful Application:Relevant third-level qualification/certification
A minimum of five years' experience in the ICT/Telco industry.
A minimum of one year's experience in a supervisory position in a PMO would be advantageous with demonstrated line management or team leader experience.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels within the business and external customers.
Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities.
Ability to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions when faced with competing objectives and customer needs.
Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, and dependencies
Highly proficient in MS suite, including MS Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and relationship development skills
Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team-oriented, organised.
