Independent Advocacy Service
To provide independent advocacy support to children and adults with a learning disability and/or mental health needs and their carers throughout Northern Ireland including Muckamore Abbey Hospital.

What you need to know:
- Location: Belfast
- Salary: £13.45ph plus 37p mileage
- Contract: Full time Contract- 30hrs
Part time hours available - Shift Times: Monday-Friday. Weekly working hours to be agreed upon appointment.
What the role entails:
- To respond to referrals for advocacy support and manage an individual caseload as allocated by the Service Manager
- To build positive and meaningful relationships with Service Users/Carers and recognising Service Users/Carers as the Expert by Experience
- To assist Service Users/Carers to explore their choices and options and support them in making an informed decision about potential courses of action without influence.
