Balmer Dawson Executive Search is excited to partner with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) in seeking an Individual Giving Manager to lead the development and execution of their donor acquisition and retention strategies.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced, and creative fundraising manager to make a significant impact. As the Individual Giving Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the charity's income through the development and implementation of its individual giving strategy, focusing on supporter acquisition, retention, and stewardship plans and campaigns, with a strong emphasis on growing long-term sustainable income, reach, and engagement.

Location: SVP House, 91-92 Sean McDermott Street, Dublin 1

Salary: Circa €65,000 per annum – Depending on Experience

Contract Type: Permanent, Hybrid

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (9.00am to 5.30pm)

With a network of over 10,000 volunteers and 800 staff, SVP provides essential services including housing, community care, and advocacy.

The Role:

This key role will focus on building and growing SVP’s individual giving programs, ensuring the effective management of donor communications, and exploring new fundraising channels to maximise income. You will play a pivotal role in increasing SVP’s donor base and ensuring long-term engagement with individual supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Donor Strategy: Manage and enhance SVP’s Individual Giving Strategy, focusing on donor retention and acquisition across various channels (Direct Mail, Digital Fundraising, etc.).
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of direct mail and digital campaigns, ensuring creative development, implementation, and impact evaluation.
  • Donor Communication: Develop engaging donor communications and support the management of donor days, invitations, and other engagement activities.
  • Data Management: Utilise SVP’s database to analyse donor trends, segment communications, and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with regional fundraising teams to tailor campaigns and share best practices.
  • What You Bring:Experience: 3+ years in individual giving or fundraising, with proven success in donor acquisition, direct mail, and digital fundraising.
  • Skills: Strong project management, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency in database management and digital marketing.
  • Education: A third-level qualification in marketing, communications, or business, with a relevant fundraising qualification (CII or similar) preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: Passion for social justice, flexible, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
