Information Governance Manager

The purpose of the post is to provide an expert advisory function for the development of NMH’s Information Governance, incorporating:

Data protection Officer Role as required under GDPR compliance and Freedom of Information Officer as required under FOI. Education and training (staff), Public awareness and transparency, Audit and corrective/preventative action, Policies and procedures, Lead, manage and audit the Information Governance Function, Monitor and assure compliance with the statutory information governance responsibilities of the NMH, Provide an expert advisory function to management and ensures the organisation’s compliance with applicable legislation e.g. Data Protection Act 2018, Freedom of Information Act 2014, and best practice Information Governance in a healthcare setting, ongoing development of the Information Governance function and support within NMH.
