The IS&T Collaboration & Productivity team equips Apple Employees with the tools, training, information, and support in order to effectively coordinate, communicate, and collaborate across their many responsibilities each work day. Our main focus is simple: enable Apple Employees to be more productive. We are looking for an enthusiastic developer with a passion for UX/Interaction design and collaboration to join Apple’s Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) division between March and August 2020, on a 6 month internship. Your first 3 months will be focused on a project brief to explore, identify and deliver how we can collaborate more effortlessly by finding ways to combine cutting-edge technology with outstanding user experiences to improve virtual meetings for everyone! Your second 3 months will be a fantastic opportunity to step outside of the brief and gain real world career experience within EMEIA IS&T.

Key Qualifications

  • We are seeking a hands-on, enthusiastic developer with a passion for UX/Interaction design and collaboration, who enjoys technical problem solving, with validated knowledge of programming.
  • Programming experience
  • Interaction/UX Design
  • Visualisation/Prototyping tools (Sketch/Adobe suite)
  • Can you thrive in a creative, fast-paced, challenging environment, comfortable working with different teams across regions?


- This position requires a highly motivated person who wants to help us invent real-world solutions focused on creating a positive user experience. - You will work with a diverse, dynamic team in Cork, Ireland, and will be able to interact with teams globally including those based in London and Cupertino, CA. - You will be responsible for developing next generation solutions to re-invent the way we collaborate at Apple. - You will explore and develop new technical solutions, such as including where your Video Conference meeting starts instantly, creating a seamless meeting experience for everyone at Apple. - You will be given the freedom to influence the project direction and requirements to make it your own.

Additional Requirements

  • Once you complete your internship, high-performing interns will be eligible for full-time offers into Apple's IT Development Program (ITDP). ITDP is a two year rotational training program that offers a completely customisable series of assignments within IS&T. Upon completion of the ITDP, participants leverage their training in advanced roles within Apple IS&T.
