Insights Development Coordinator

The Role:
The Asset Operations function forms the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered.
The Operations Support Team has responsibility for providing and managing effective business infrastructure and processes at a national level to support operational activities at site level.
Reporting to the Insights Development Technical Lead, the Insights Development Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality analysis to provide insights to the Asset Operation’s functions through a number of key activities including; developing best in class reporting capabilities, data and technical support, promotion of “Right First Time” and the delivery of the Insights and Support Teams programme of works.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop reports to enable the provision of performance related insights to the Asset Operation’s function and key stakeholders
- Deliver standardised Asset Operations reporting capabilities for handover for BAU (Business As Usual) activities
- Deliver and maintain interim reporting capabilities, supporting operational oversight across the Asset Operations functions
- Perform data quality checks and ensure data provided by Asset Operations Functions is accurate and measures are highlighting true Operational performance
- Maintain structured data repositories, documents and reports which detail Operational Performance in each operational area against Asset Operation’s Work Programme and business targets
- Support Insights Performance Team’s review of Operational KPIs for Asset Operations to measure performance and success
- Develop close working relationships with other data focused business teams, to deliver on UÉ data and information strategies
- Provide high quality, customer focused, technical and data support to Asset Operations Function
- Support Asset Operation’s Centralised Reporting and “Right First Time” initiatives
- Drive and promote, best in class, Enterprise Content Management initiatives
- Participate and support Asset Operations Employee Engagement, Well-Being and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives as required
- Raise risks and issues as appropriate to the Insights Manager
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business.
- Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards.
- Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectives.
- Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable and or relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience required, experience in a similar role in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable
- Strong understanding of report development using latest technologies and visualisation tools
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Power BI or other data visualisation tools
- We do the right thing - strong understanding of best-practice Enterprise Content Management (SharePoint)
- Strong IT competency and data focused mindset
- Proactive, with ability to work on own initiative and with others to ensure success in the performance of a team
- Proven effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and remain focused
- We work better together - proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey messages in a clear and concise manner
- Flexible with regard to working in a changing environment and the ability to adjust to new work structures, processes and requirements as necessary
- We aim high - proactively identifying new areas of learning and using newly gained knowledge and skills on the job

Please note the Market reference point (midpoint) of the range is generally the upper end of the offer where someone is deemed to be fully competent to take on the duties of the role, and leaves room for the employee to progress through the pay range as their experience develops further.
