We are seeking highly motivated, skilled Interim Speech and Language Discipline Manager to support Childrens Disability Network Teams.initial duration period of 12 months. Arising from this competition, a panel may be formed from which future vacancies may be filled.
This post will be located in the following areas:
West/Midwest (working with teams in Limerick, Nenagh and Galway) Based at one of the service locations
Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week
Salary Scale: €75,278 - €91,997 pro rata per annum.
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days
Overview of the Post:
Working closely with the CDNM, the Interim Discipline Manager will provide discipline specific clinical and professional leadership, support and guidance to relevant staff across the assigned Childrens Disability network teams. They will be responsible for the delivery and development of a high quality, integrated and effective service within the discipline, working in an interdisciplinary service model, ensuring that professional standards are maintained.

The successful candidate will have
- Registration, or be eligible for registration, in the relevant discipline by the discipline Registration Board at CORU or as relevant
- 5 years full time (or an aggregate of 5 years full time) post qualification experience
- The requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
- Proof of Statutory Registration on the relevant discipline Register maintained by the relevant discipline Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued
