Applications are invited for the following position:

Interim Speech & Language Therapist, Manager

Full Time – 12 month contract

LOCATION: West Limerick Children Services, Newcastle West, Co Limerick

The Interim Speech and Language Therapist, Manager (CDNT) will report to the appropriate manager in line with the future state Integrated Service Directorate model, which is currently being designed and finalised.

The successful candidate must:

• Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
• Have 5 years full time (or an aggregate of 5 years full time) post qualification clinical experience
• Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
• Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued
• Knowledge of Children First, FOI, GDPR, Disability Act and other legislation relevant to this role
• Knowledge of HIQA and other standards as relevant to this role
