Interior Designer / Interior Architect

Interior Designer / Interior Architect required for busy shop fitting design and build company in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo.

Candidate requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience - however, junior roles are also available - apply today for more information.
• Ability to work on their own, and as part of a team developing and completing designs ready for manufacture development.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. AutoCAD & Sketchup.
• Knowledge of current Irish building/fire regulations
• Knowledge of CNC process desirable

Tasks:

• Interior design of commercial interiors from conception to completion
• Design presentation packages
• 3D modeling Sketchup & 2D AutoCAD
• Rendering ability desirable
• Present designs to clients/contractors
• Surveying
• Joinery detailing
• Fit-out construction detailing.
• Services: plumbing, electrical, mechanical layouts
• Project scheduling
• Materials specifications
• Liaise with sub-contractors on and off-site.
• Project cost estimation, quoting.
• Tracking of job costs and analysis
