As an Intermediaries Mortgage Expert, you will report to the Team Leader in the Intermediary Mortgages team. You will be responsible for the review and validation of mortgage applications submitted by the intermediary channel. Your role will also involve daily interaction with Mortgage Intermediaries to support them in the packaging of good quality, fully compliant mortgage applications.

Responsibilities:

• Review all intermediary mortgage applications to ensure that they meet agreed standards and are in line with credit policy
• Upload mortgage applications onto SMART in an accurate and detailed manner
• Validate all relevant information on mortgage applications i.e. name, address, income
• Fully prepare mortgage applications and recommend for approval to Retail Credit Centre
• Interact with Brokers and colleagues in other departments to answer queries and provide status updates if required.
• Tasks and activities are subject to Quality Assurance (QA). You must achieve satisfactory levels of QA across all tasks you perform.

Requirements:

• Some experience in financial services in either an operations or customer facing role is required
• Good time management skills with the ability to work to tight Service Level Agreements
• Excellent PC skills (in particular Word and Excel)Good working knowledge of Hogan, Unibanks and SMART
• Keen attention to detail with good organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to encourage collaboration with colleagues to deliver a seamless service.

This is a Permanent role, based in Blackrock (Onsite).
