Internal Communications Change Specialist (12 months fixed term contract)

Glanbia have embarked on an exciting Global HR transformation journey encompassing Strategy, Processes, and Technology to create a future ready and People centred organisation.

As part of this journey, we have a requirement on our Project Team for an Internal Comms Change Specialist based on a 12 months fixed term contract & will report to the Global Transformation Change Lead

For now, this role is remote (due to current restrictions) but will be primarily based in either Kilkenny (Project Office) or Dublin, Citywest. Other remote locations will be considered with the ability to travel to program office as required when permitted. In addition we operate a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • To bring the HR Transformation strategy to life for employees by supporting business leaders in the development and execution of all company-wide strategic communications including communications planning, content development and deployment.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain communications content. Utilise employee communications touchpoints and opportunities to promote and reinforce our values and the employee experience within Glanbia all employee segments.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and implement tailored communications solutions to support the HR Transformation program
  • Consult with employees to measure effectiveness of HR Transformation internal communications and drive continuous improvement in internal communications approach, content, and practices
  • Optimise and develop new and existing Communications Channels to maximise inclusion and access to content for all employees, regardless of role or location. 

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in an internal communications role preferably with experience of HR Transformation communications
  • Experience of partnering with and influencing senior leaders
  • Strong capabilities in copywriting and content development with the ability to articulate messaging to multiple audiences and stakeholders
  • Technically competent in use of digital/social media tools and HTML email platforms.
