Inventory/Warehouse Lead
Physical Access Control Solutions:
HID PAC’s Business Unit focuses on the growth of new clients and existing clients where we leverage the latest card and reader technologies to solve the security challenges of our clients. Other areas of focus will include authentication, card sub systems, card encoding, Biometrics, location services and all other aspects of a physical access control infrastructure.
As our Warehouse Lead, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Complying with SOPs and work instructions related to job function.
- Being held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Accuracy, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
- Being the main point of contact for shipping inquiries for internal customers.
- Working collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
- Contributing to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance.
- Proactively logging and escalating potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies.
- Participating in root cause, corrective / preventive action activities as required.
- Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
- Locating materials and supplies by pulling and verifying the correct parts, quantities and serial numbers that customers requests.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks and making sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.
- Assisting in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order.
- Moving freight and stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts.
- Ensuring the highest levels of accuracy in Oracle and shipping software transactions.
- Planning layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering safety, turnover, size, weight, sub-inventory, replenishment methods, visual organization and related factors of items stored.
- Advising employees on safe use and operation of equipment, behaviors and requirements for safety in the warehouse. Advising employees on care and preservation of items received and stored; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, counting, maintaining, and issuing stock; and related matters.
- Reviewing records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
- Organizing and scheduling work for cycle count and periodic inventories.
- Tracing history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow.
- Assigning duties and examining work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Studying and standardizing procedures to improve safety and efficiency of subordinates.
- Entering data and generates reports based upon individual entries or issues by subordinates.

- Must possess the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail.
- Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift.
- Requires the ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment

- Must be familiar with Trade compliance policies for international shipments.
Your Experience and Education include:
- Minimum 3 years of International and complex shipping experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Warehouse and Picking operations experience.
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent
