Join us as a IT & Networks Finance Manager
As the IT & Networks Finance Manager you will lead the team supporting our IT & Networks department with all aspects of Finance including P&L, budgeting and forecasts. Business partner the IT & Networks division with adhoc projects
What else it Involves:
- Own the timely delivery of complete and accurate monthly management accounts including P&L and Headcount reports.
- Provide insights into the actuals and model impacts on forecasts
- Support the IT and Network Operations team and its management in delivering on the financial targets
- Work with the Networks & IT teams to formulate forecasts and budget submissions and to ensure any projects are incorporated into same
- Finance Business Partnering offering financial advice on Projects
- Assist the CTO in all financial matters relating to IT and Network Operations, advising on matters as and when required.
- Caculating Return on Investment for IT & Networks spend and building benefits into forecasts
- Ownership of financial projects related to Network and IT components
- Management of the Estates payments and reporting process including IFRS 16
- Head officeaccounting for IFRS16
- Continually review all processes and procedures, highlighting amendments as and when necessary.
- Ensure all processes and procedures implemented within IT and Network Operations can be integrated in the financial systems, ensuring that all are adequate and appropriate.
- Co-ordinate activities with external and internal auditors on all matters relating to IT & Network Finance
- Provide support on requests that are made to the Finance department by the Group Head office.
- Support Quarterly Financial Reports to Head Office for IFRS16
- Manage a team that will assist in the delivery of the key objectives.
- Technical accounting support to Deputy CFO and CFO as required
- Adhoc projects from our Group Company relating to IT & Networks
- Group submissions on IT & Networks financial data
- Adhoc projects driven by the IT Department
The skills were looking for:
- Qualified Accountant with Previous hands-on involvement in the preparation and delivery of monthly management reporting
- Proven background in the preparation and delivery of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Experience of reporting and analysis
- Experience liaising in a financial capacity with all levels of an organisation, explaining financial data to non finance people
- Commercial awareness
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience of working in/with a mobile telecommunications network operator
