IT Support Analyst
To work as a member of the Information Technology Team, providing friendly, efficient support to hospital staff and to maintain good lines of communication between the ICT Dept., hospital staff, and third parties.· Minimum of two years’ experience working in a busy (500-1000 user) service desk environment.
· Minimum of two years’ experience of desktop operating systems Windows 7 to Windows 11.
· Accurately log and update calls on the hospital helpdesk system, including documenting solutions to the knowledge bank
· Resolution of support calls remotely and desk-side as appropriate, and escalation to the appropriate resource, including third parties, where necessary
· Provide application support and user management for the hospital’s ICT systems
· Provide 1st line hardware support and escalate to suppliers where necessary
· Set up and deploy new equipment, ensuring that all equipment is asset tagged and that inventories are kept up to date.
· Keep users informed of call status and system service disruption as appropriate
· Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures.
· Participate in working groups and new projects as required, and assist in the implementation of any recommendations issued.
· To actively participate in training for, and deployment of, new systems
· Provide basic A/V and meeting room support
· Participate in on-call support rota.
· Provide administrative support for the IT Manager as required.
· Any other duties deemed appropriate to the post. Please note that the duties of this post may change over time.
