Junior Chef de Partie

We are currently looking for a Part-time Junior Chef de Partie to join our team in Longford

Working Pattern: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00-20:00

Main duties and responsibilities

As a Junior Chef de Partie, you will coordinate daily operations and manage maintenance, caretaking, cleaning, and catering departments. Your main focus will be to deliver exceptional food service, maintain high standards, and manage costs effectively.

• Food Preparation & Service to a high standard
• Maintain meal standards and specifications, using fresh, local produce.
• Control raw materials, portions, and stock, ensuring tight stock control and minimal wastage.
•  Ensure all food preparation and hygiene standards comply with legal and company requirements.
• Induct new staff and maintain a clean, secure kitchen environment.
• Maintain positive client relationships, addressing complaints and compliments efficiently.
• To report all complaints to the manager
• To maintain a safe environment reporting all accidents and faults
• To only use equipment in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines

Requirements:

• Good understanding of English language
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of HACCP and ability to implement a HACCP Plan
• Experience in a similar role is desirable
• Excellent communication, customer service, and people management skills.
• Flexible and able to take initiative in dynamic situations.
