Junior Commercial Account Executive

This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in PI insurance, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and retention of a high-value book of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Account Director with day-to-day management of an existing book of professional indemnity accounts.
• Prepare and process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate favorable terms, cover, and pricing.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to client queries, providing exceptional service and technical guidance.
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the existing client base.
• Support claims handling, ensuring timely and effective resolution for clients.
• Stay up to date with market developments, industry trends, and insurer appetites in the professional indemnity sector.

Skills & Experience

• Previous insurance experience (commercial lines preferred; professional indemnity highly advantageous).
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Competent in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• APA (Accredited Product Adviser) or CIP (Certified Insurance Practitioner) qualification is required.
