Junior Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Warehouse Operative to join our stores team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with opportunities to learn, develop, and progress within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of parts in a busy warehouse environment
• Handling a high volume of different parts moving in and out of the warehouse
• Learning to identify and work with a range of components (e.g. axles, wheels, bolts, and other mechanical parts)
• Operating a forklift truck to load and unload deliveries (training provided if required)
• Completing associated paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Lifting and moving items safely in line with Health & Safety guidelines
• Communicating with internal teams and customers to help identify required parts and arrange shipments
• Supporting regular stock counts and inventory checks
• Assisting with stock organisation and maintaining accurate records using warehouse or stock management software
• Helping to keep the stores area organised and efficient to support production and assembly operations
• Carrying out general housekeeping and basic maintenance duties around the factory, such as cleaning, minor repairs, and upkeep of work areas

• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, physical role
