About the Role

We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our Catering Supervisor/Chef in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals within a caring residential setting. You’ll help ensure residents enjoy safe, balanced, and appetising food every day while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and baking
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, HACCP, and food safety
• Support menu planning and dietary requirements
• Help with food storage, stock control, and records
• Engage positively with residents and promote person-centred care

About You

• Passion for food and supporting older people
• Team player with good communication skills
• Previous kitchen or care experience (desirable)
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends
