Kitchen Assistant

• Experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Good hygiene practices and awareness of food safety standards

• Willingness to learn and take initiative

• Physical stamina to handle long hours on your feet

• Prepping ingredients for chefs, including chopping vegetables and portioning meats

• Washing and slicing fruits and vegetables

• Assisting in cooking simple ingredients under the chef’s guidance

• Keeping kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and orderly

• Organizing and restocking food storage areas including fridges and dry stores

• Ensuring all food preparation meets hygiene and health and safety standards

• Assisting in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries
