Location: Copelands – 97 Donaghadee Road, Millisle, BT22 2BZ
Contract: Fixed Term – 12 months
Hours: A maximum of 12 hours per week (2 X 6 hour shifts)
Salary: 21 and over: £12.21 per hour (National Living Wage)
18 to 20: £10.00 per hour
Under 18: £7.55 per hour

About the role
As a Trainee Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
You will assist with basic food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and day-to-day operational tasks while learning essential skills needed for a professional kitchen setting.

What we're looking for:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy
• Ability to form appropriate supportive relationships with residents and family members where appropriate
• No prior experience required — full training will be provided
• Flexibility to work a rota which includes early mornings, early evenings, and weekends.
