About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven individual to join our Group Marketing Channel Optimisation team. You will be a key member of a fast-moving passionate Marketing team that delivers world class digital experiences. In this hybrid role, you’ll combine expertise in both SEO and knowledge management. Your mission is to optimize the bank’s digital presence while ensuring effective knowledge sharing.

The Search Lead will be responsible for measuring, reporting, and optimising of AIB Group websites, which includes aib.ie (one of Irelands most visited sites), to ensure or customers and potential customers find the relevant information on our products and services on and off site. They will work with our technology partners and stakeholders to drive change powered by customer data. They will drive and implement solutions to enhance data-driven insights for use by senior stakeholders. These data driven insights will be used to design new customer journeys and revamp existing ones. The Search Lead will also manage the knowledge base for AIB Group Marketing working with our partners and systems to ensure content is relevant and consistent.

This role requires a multitasker who can work well in a team and on their own. They will have a clear understanding of the wider data strategy and how digital analytics can play a key part within this. They will assist in developing large scale analytics strategies in order to support the bank’s vision incorporating marketing, performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Interpret complex data analysis requirements and decide on the most appropriate solutions.
  • Provide direction and guidance to the wider team on the solution approach and design, while prioritising tasks and resources within agreed parameters.
  • Identify solutions for complex analysis requests, including resolving data gaps and anomalies.
  • Deliver end to end performance reporting enhancements through data visualisation and distribution.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their analysis requirements and creates analytical solutions to achieve the desired results.
  • Present analytical findings to senior stakeholders and provide data-driven insights to inform key business decisions.
  • Manage technology platforms and own the relationship for the business.
  • Independently develop dashboards and reporting.
  • Champion a Customer First culture in support of our Purpose, strategic ambition, and Brand Values, by ensuring processes and procedures consistently promote good outcomes for all our customers.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in data analysis and website tracking desirable.
  • Relevant Degree or Postgrad qualification (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Digital Marketing , Data Analytics) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Digital Analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics etc, and their uses.
  • Have expertise in SEO and experience of SEO tools such as SEM RUSH , Brightedge and Google suite (Google Search Console and Google My Business).
  • An adept understanding of organisational goals and transferring them into technical tracking requirements.
  • A ruthless focus on Measurement & Effectiveness – and have an evidence based approach to decision making.
  • Work in cross functional teams and manage competing requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally, engage & influence stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience of delivering results within a high performing team.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
