Lab Support Engineering is at the heart of a worldwide lab operations team providing 24x7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. What you’ll achieveAs a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining advanced security architectures that protect global lab environments. You will work with cybersecurity, IT, governance, and R&D teams to safeguard infrastructure, mitigate risks, and support the development of cutting‑edge technologies.You will:·Implement and maintain lab security architectures that ensure scalability, reliability, and strong security performance.

·Oversee daily operations of security systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

·Identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities, threats, and security risks across lab environments.

·Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements by partnering with cybersecurity and governance teams.

·Evaluate, test, and recommend new security technologies while collaborating with vendors and cross‑functional teams.

•5+ years’ experience in security engineering, including work with large‑scale, complex security systems.

• Strong knowledge of core security protocols (encryption, authentication, access control) and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.

•Hands‑on experience with major security vendor solutions (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco) and security monitoring/configuration‑management tools.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment .

Desirable Requirements

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

•Experience with security orchestration technologies.
