Join us as a Lead Customer Analytics Specialist 

With Digital Strategy at the APEX of everything we do in Three Ireland, this role is critical to providing data-based insights to the entire organisation that will influence customer related strategies.

We’re looking for a strategic and technically skilled Adobe Analytics specialist to support our digital analytics efforts across web and mobile platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust tagging implementation while also driving deep behavioural insights that inform our digital strategy, customer experience, and ecommerce performance.

You’ll be the go-to expert for Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch, guiding tagging governance, data layer strategy, and integration best practices. Equally, you’ll be expected to dive into the data, uncover trends, and translate them into actionable insights that support the big choices.

What else it involves 

  • Strong market awareness, adept at identifying methods, use cases, and behavioural insights that can translate across verticals. Contribute to the overall strategy for Three Ireland and the omnichannel vision. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital analytics such as server-side implementation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Adobe Analytics tagging and integration queries. Design and manage a governance framework that ensures prioritisation, clarity, education, and timely resolution of implementation requests.
  • Direct the full lifecycle of Adobe Analytics implementation across web and mobile platforms, including requirements gathering, solution design, tagging via Adobe Launch, validation, and deployment.
  • Ensure robust and consistent tagging across digital touchpoints. Monitor and optimise data collection performance, including server call efficiency and tag firing accuracy.
  • Identify integration opportunities that enhance customer experience and drive business outcomes. Collaborate with product owners to embed analytics and behavioural insights into decision-making processes across the Omnichannel Tribe.
  • Own the tagging strategy for funnel effectiveness measurement. Enable visibility into user journeys and conversion paths, supporting tactical and strategic choices for next-best actions.
  • Support CRO initiatives by ensuring accurate tagging for A/B tests, personalization efforts, and campaign tracking. Translate behavioural data into actionable insights for UX, content, and journey optimisation.
  • Manage Adobe Analytics configurations and server call optimization. Ensure tagging integrity and platform scalability.
  • Leverage Adobe Analytics APIs to automate reporting, tagging validation, and data extraction processes, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual overhead.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to integrate Adobe Analytics data with other platforms (e.g., CDPs, CRM, BI tools) to support personalization and unified customer views.
  • Ensure all tagging and data collection practices are compliant with GDPR and other relevant regulations. Continuously evolve integration strategies in line with Adobe best practices.
  • Liaise with other departments such as marketing, IT, and product development to align tagging and analytics strategies with business goals.

The skills we’re looking for

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch, including WebSDK implementation, tag management for web and mobile, Adobe Developer Console, and Data Insertion API.
  • Strong experience with data layer design and implementation, including working with or without predefined data layers.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical tagging specifications and direct end-to-end implementation strategies across digital platforms.
  • Skilled in JavaScript, HTML, CSS selectors, and page structure, with the ability to create and manage SDRs, technical specs, and data layer documentation.
  • Experience with server-side tagging and modern digital analytics architectures, including cookie-less tracking and privacy-compliant data collection.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Analytics administration, including report suite setup, user management, classifications, and server call optimization.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics APIs for automating tagging validation, reporting, and integration tasks.
  • Strong experience in deriving actionable insights from Adobe Analytics workspace, including segmentation, calculated metrics, and cohort analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful trends and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and maintaining executive dashboards and performance scorecards.
  • Familiarity with customer journey analytics, attribution modelling, and funnel analysis.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, IT, product, and data teams to align tagging and analytics strategies with business goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to identifying tagging gaps, implementation issues, and integration opportunities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, especially in validating tag firing, data capture, and platform performance.
  • Well-organised and process-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tagging and analytics projects and prioritise effectively.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, iterative environments, delivering tagging and integration solutions incrementally and adapting to evolving requirements.
  • Advocates for test-and-learn approaches, enabling experimentation and rapid feedback loops through robust tagging and data capture.

Good to have:

  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., PowerBI) for integration and validation purposes.
  • Experienced in working within Agile, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient in using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to manage tasks, document tagging requirements, and track implementation progress.
  • Strong understanding of Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews) and how analytics integration fits into the delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics or other advanced analytics platforms
