Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Lead Document Controller located in Dundalk, Ireland.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Lead Document Controllerrole involves overseeing the daily operations of the Document Control team, ensuring efficient management of project documentation workflows, maintaining compliance with internal and client requirements, and driving continuous improvement in document control processes and reporting.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and write work instructions and procedures.
- Manage the day-to-day activities in Document Control and team of Document Controllers.
- Main point of contact for Document Control related client queries, delegating as appropriate within the team
- Resolve system issues/discrepancies and actively chase individuals to resolve problems.
- Liaise with the Projects team and Document Controller team daily.
- Support the client and external vendors.
- Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows) with direction from the teams
- Set-up document workflows and approvals.
- Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
- Communication and training to internal disciplines to understand the project documentation requirements.
- Produce regular status reports for the project team.
- Prepare other ad-hoc reports on projects as needed
- Work closely with the wider project teams to support project documentation requirements.
- Consider improvements to ways of working, efficiency of document management and implement improvements to reporting as necessary
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement

- Ability to organise own workload and use initiative
- Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives
- High level of organisation
- Efficient with thorough methods of working
- Excellent work ethic with confidentiality at the core
- Be willing and able to travel between sites as and when required
- Previous experience leading/supervising a team advantageous
- Possess a driving licence and have willingness to travel between sites in Dundalk
- Eligible to work in Ireland (EU).
