Lead Midwife For Fetal Monitoring / Clinical Skills Facilitator

The CMM2 Lead Midwife for fetal Monitoring and clinical skills will support and work with the Director of Midwifery, the Clinical Director/Clinical Obstetrician.

The post holder will be a highly visible midwifery champion for fetal heart rate interpretation through demonstration of expert clinical knowledge and practice within the antenatal and intrapartum period. Education and training of maternity staff is a fundamental element of this post.

The post holder will lead on and support staff to develop their fetal monitoring skills when caring for women in labour, including both intermittent auscultation and continuous monitoring
