Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator (Grade IV)
This is an exciting time to join the National Children’s Hospital Ireland (NCHI) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) teams as a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator (Grade IV). This role will be varied, fast-paced and you’ll be part of a team dedicated to implementing the Learning Management System (LMS) for the new CHI hospital.
Purpose of the Role:
Eolas is the all-staff training programme for the National Children’s Hospital Ireland. It is a framework through which training will be defined and delivered and includes:
- Local induction
- EHR training
- Eolas online training (including Clinical Communications training)
- Seomra: Bedside equipment training (Role Specific)
- Cógas: Medication administration training (Role Specific)
CHI is implementing Epic as its EHR system, launching alongside the new hospital to create Ireland’s first fully digitalised hospital.
The primary focus of this role is the technical administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) used for the Eolas staff training programme for the National Children’s Hospital Ireland (NCHI). This position is pivotal in ensuring that all digital learning tools and platforms used to educate staff are fit for purpose to support the delivery of high-quality, up-to-date training to all staff.
Essential Criteria:
Applicants must meet all the following:
- A minimum of 1 year's full-time experience working on a Learning Management System (LMS). This experience will include technical writing, development of LMS support/user guides and procedures, experience in delivering LMS, service desk support.
- Have successfully achieved a Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification at minimum Level 5 within the QQI Framework.
Desirable Criteria:
- Have a 3rd level degree, higher national diploma or PLC in a Learning & Development, Training/Education E-Learn Design.
- Have experience working with SAP reporting.
- Have experience in LMS systems implementation, in particular Totara, Moodle, HeLM and HSeLanD.
- Understanding of healthcare systems and processes or electronic health record (EHR) applications within an Irish, UK or other European hospital.
