Lecturer/Clinical Tutor in Anaesthesia - set salary €55,000 per annum.
The Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care & Pain Medicine at Cork University Hospital (CUH) are seeking to hire an experienced Clinical Lecturer in Anaesthesia.
This is a great opportunity for the post-holder to join a department managing Anaesthesia for multiple surgical specialities, a busy Intensive Care Unit and large Pain Medicine Unit.
The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for the peri-operative management of patients in the Operating Theatre and Intensive Care Unit responsibilities.
Candidates will have a consultant clinical supervisor and regular teaching. Candidates will be involved in UCC and academic meetings and research (e.g. Grand rounds, Journal Audits and Research meetings).
Qualifications and skills
Suitable applicants should have experience at Registrar level in Anaesthesia, preferably in Ireland or the UK.
Applicants must be registered with the Irish Medical Council. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong grounding in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care and a keen interest in research and teaching. While prior clinical research experience and/or publications are desirable, these are not essential.
