We currently have a vacancy for a Lecturer in GCSE English and Essential Skills Literacy

JOB PURPOSE
​​​​To become a member of the teaching team in current courses of study and assist with future developments. 
​​​​​
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. Hold GCSE English (Grade A-C) / Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in
Communication; and GCSE Maths (Grade A-C) / Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules;
2. Hold a Degree in an appropriate area
OR
Hold a qualification in an appropriate area which should be Level 5 or above on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) / National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England and Northern Ireland
AND
have 3 years relevant industrial, professional or business experience.
3. Have the relevant qualifications and meet the requirements of the following circular:
Qualifications required to Deliver Essential Skills in Northern Ireland Circular ES01/12
4. A minimum of one years’ experience of teaching students with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties.
5. A minimum of one years’ experience in the delivery of Essential Skills Literacy or GCSE English.
6. Demonstrate a high level of competency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
7. Demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
8. Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and organise given tasks and objectives.
9. Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral.
