Legal Executive

John O’Connor Solicitors LLP are seeking to recruit a Legal Executive to join their team in the Conveyancing and Probate Department to provide legal executive support to solicitors. It is essential that candidates have excellent IT and organisation skills and 4 years experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist solicitors with all aspects of conveyancing transactions, including property sales, purchases, remortgages and voluntary transfers.
• Review and drafting of legal documentation required for conveyancing transactions such as Contract for Sale, Requisitions on Title, Declarations etc.
• Attending to the registration of title in the Registry of Deed and Tailte Éireann.
• Review and drafting of legal documentation required for probate matter such as Statement of Affairs, Notice of Application and Oaths.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors and any other third party to progress matters as directed by the partners and solicitors of the firm.
• Other administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as requested.

Candidates must have the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly manner to enable effective and positive engagement with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
• Highly organised and motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work well to deadlines.
• Good time management and work ethic with a willingness to learn. 
• Strong MS Office skills and experience in using legal case management software and other relevant tools.
• Professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.

This position is a full-time, in office, permanent position and would be ideal for a candidate looking to further their experience in a legal executive role. Commencement date is immediate. Salary commensurate with experience.
