Internship in Applegreen's Legal department, based in Parkwest, Dublin from September 2026 to May 2027.

Legal Research

· Research legal issues related to new business initiatives.

· Compile summaries of recent case law and legal trends.

· Assist in identifying legal risks and opportunities for the company.

Document Drafting & Review

· Draft simple contracts and correspondence.

· Review and edit existing legal documents for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.

· Assist with preparing internal legal memos on specific topics.

Assisting with Corporate Governance

· Assist with preparing materials for board and committee meetings.

· Maintain corporate records and compliance documents.

· Review and update internal policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Litigation Support

· Assist in preparing discovery documents, including requests for production of documents.

· Summarise depositions, pleadings, and court orders.

· Conduct fact-finding and gather evidence in support of litigation strategy.

Compliance and Regulatory Support

· Research and help ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, employment law).

· Assist in preparing reports for regulatory authorities.

· Help the team review and update compliance-related documents and procedures.

General Administrative Support

· Organise and manage electronic and paper legal files.

· Assist in scheduling meetings and coordinating with outside counsel.

· Support team members with administrative duties and document management.
