Summary of role:
The Financial Crime Data and Analytics team is responsible for supporting the Financial Crime function by analysing operations and risk management system data to develop appropriate and dynamic reports and dashboards to support risk controls and KPIs.
The role needs to build, design and deliver intelligent, innovative, and insightful MI processes and dashboards to inform decisions, realise measurable business benefit and meet regulatory deadlines and requirements.
Key accountabilities/responsibilities are as follows:
- Utilise data analysis techniques to analyse complex data sets to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Prepare detailed reports and process maps based on findings from data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their MI, process and reporting requirements
- Leverage tools to automate data and reporting processes
- Build, design and deliver insightful MI processes and dashboards

Minimum Criteria:
- Minimum 4+ years data analyst experience.
- Proven experience in data analysis , reporting and automation, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, Excel, etc
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex findings clearly.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
