Litigation Solicitor

O’Reilly Thomas LLP Solicitors is a progressive, well-established and busy general practice operating in Drogheda, County Louth. They are now seeking to recruit a full time Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of one year post qualification experience. This role will focus on High Court and Circuit Court litigation. Experience in employment and family law would be an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a busy caseload and competencies should include, but are not limited to the following:

• An in-depth knowledge of litigation procedures and practices;
• Experience in Hight Court and Circuit Court advocacy;
• Experience in managing their own caseload and excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Experience in attending hearings, settlements and mediations;
• Good organisational and IT skills; (familiarity with Keyhouse case management would be an advantage but not essential);
• A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
